Features:
The GIpro X-Type G2 gear indicator replaces the G1 version. It offers the same functionality as G1 but features a touch sensor to access the setup menu.
The GIpro X-Type G2 with the proper GPX harness can be installed on any vehicle with an electronic speedometer (for bikes with a mechanical/cable speedometer, a special harness with an external speed sensor is available: GPX-WSS).
The GIpro X-Type G2 is designed for motorcycle models that cannot install the GIpro ATRE (GPAT) or GIpro DS.
It detects the engaged gear by comparing speed and engine RPM ratio.
Install with a GPX wiring harness, model specific, which plugs into the speed sensor cable. Requires one additional connection to the RPM signal (crankshaft position sensor/tachometer/coil signal) and, on some models, a 12V power connection.
Features a shift light, programmable max speed warning, unique in the market.
No programming cable or button required for configuration; all functions are accessible via an integrated touch sensor, making the unit 100% moisture-proof.
A universal harness (GPX-U01/U02) is available for motorcycles with uncommon connectors
A harness with included speed sensor (GPX-WSS) is available for bikes without an electronic speed sensor (mechanical/cable speedometer)
